Role Description This contract Insurance Agent role is a hybrid position based in Jacksonville, FL, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The Insurance Agent will help individuals and businesses understand, select, and enroll in appropriate Colonial Life insurance products that meet their protection needs. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and building relationships with clients, conducting needs-based consultations, presenting benefit options, and guiding clients through the application and enrollment process. The role involves explaining policy features, answering questions, resolving basic service issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up. The Insurance Agent is also expected to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while meeting performance and service standards. Qualifications Strong insurance sales and insurance product knowledge, with the ability to explain disability, life, accident, and supplemental benefits clearly. Experience in insurance brokerage or related financial services, including comfort discussing basic finance concepts with individuals and business clients. Proven customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, clarity, and timely follow-through in client interactions. Relevant state insurance licensing (or ability to obtain), and familiarity with workplace benefits or voluntary benefits preferred. Effective communication and presentation skills, both in person and via phone or virtual meetings. Self-directed work style with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client relationships in a hybrid work environment. Basic proficiency with digital tools, CRM systems, and enrollment platforms; prior experience in a sales or client-facing role is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
