Delivery Specialist-2

Delivery Specialist Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, equal to or exceeding the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed. Responsibilities Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage and complete daily vehicle inspections. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform required inspections before operating. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices and collected funds at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips. Communicate customer problems or special needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at closing. Clock in and out according to company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders. Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business dictates. Qualifications Ability to match alphanumeric sequences quickly. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations. Driving record meeting the company’s 14-18 point system. Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts (desired). Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired). Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish highly desired (desired). Compensation and Benefits Competitive wages and paid time off.
