Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (totals); schedule determined by manager. On-call requirements apply: CVOR RN call is expected at approximately 10–11 shifts per month, including every other weekend (Friday–Sunday). Holiday call may be required if a holiday falls within the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled RN-level care in a multi-suite OR environment supporting 15–24 cases per day across a broad range of specialties including orthopedics (total joints), GYN/C-sections, urology, spine, ENT, GI, general surgery, and CVOR vascular cases (fem-pops, cut-downs, hybrid cath lab cases, stents, fistulas, and CABG)
• Participate in CVOR call coverage, with expected call shifts of approximately 10–11 per month including every other weekend
• Collaborate with OR techs, charge nurses, and house supervisors to maintain safe and efficient surgical workflow
• Support C-section coverage across both L&D and main OR settings as needed
• Adhere to a 20-minute call response time requirement for general RN call shifts
• Follow facility dress code; scrubs are provided by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience in an acute care setting
• Must be able to perform C-section cases
• Must live at least 45 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience with ability to acclimate quickly to a new environment
• Strong orthopedic OR background, particularly with total joint cases
• Experience with vascular and CVOR cases including CABG and hybrid procedures
