Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Locum tenens opportunity Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Start date: November 2, 2026 Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience OR 1 year of emergency medicine experience required Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics (6 months and older) Must be proficient with splinting, wound care, suturing, incision and drainage (I&D), X-rays, EKGs, blood draws, and IVs Drive-in candidates only (must live within a 2-3 hour radius) Coverage needed Monday through Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM shifts Provider will rotate between four clinic locations, all within 30 miles of one another Independent practice with physician support available remotely when needed Onsite support includes medical assistants and radiology technicians Average patient volume of 3-4 patients per hour Typical cases include cold and flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, wound care, and other low-acuity urgent care conditions High-acuity patients are referred to the local emergency department Please indicate the provider's comfort level with the following when submitting: Suturing/Wound Care/I&Ds Splinting X-rays/EKGs Drawing Blood/IVs Working Independently Pediatrics Allow RecruitWell to coordinate a phone call with the client to discuss additional details What RecruitWell Provides: A+ Rated Malpractice Insurance Weekly Direct Deposit 24/7 Dedicated Recruiter Support Professional Onboarding and Credentialing Prepaid Travel and Lodging (no flights) RecruitWell Core Values: Open Communication Sense of Urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to Win Higher Consciousness
