Make a difference -by helping improve oral health worldwide.Under the general direction of the Quality Manager, this position is responsible for leading and supporting key elements of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the distribution center. This includes managing, nonconformance processes, and QA testing activities, The QA Specialist acts as a subject matter resource to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and maintain quality system effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesManage multiple Quality Assurance system processes within the distribution center. Serve as a quality system expert; identify, recommend, and support implementation of process improvements. Support inbound processes including performing Quality inspection(s), escalating inbound issues, and initiating non-conformances for material Provide feedback to discrepancies or improvements in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manage assigned QMS processes Ensure ongoing compliance of the distribution center by identifying procedural gaps and delivering training to associates across the organization. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including those who may not report directly to this role. Perform all other duties as assigned.EducationHigh school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree in quality assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field is preferred.Years and Type of Experience1 to 5 years of experience in quality and/or regulatory roles within a regulated manufacturing environment preferred. Medical device industry experience is a plus. Professional certification in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or Lean Six Sigma – preferred but not required.Key Behaviors and CompetenciesActively articulates and promotes Dentsply Sirona's vision, mission and values. May need to lift up to 25 pounds. MFG Work Environment: May be required to wear PPE when performing certain tasks. Work is generally performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. The noise level is usually moderate. Limited temperature fluctuations. Site specific requirements may apply.The base salary for this role located in Pennsylvania is between $70,000-80,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
