Holiday call coverage is 24 hours from 7am-7am Call requirement Weekly call requirement is 2 additional overnight call shifts per month from 11pm-7am Scrub ColorScrubs are provided for all areas with the exception of the Anesthesia Clinic. Scrubs are not provided for the Anesthesia Clinic. Staff must provide their own Navy Blue scrubs. Staff are allowed up to 4 schedule requests per schedule but they are flexible as long as the needs of the unit are met. One of the charge nurses does the schedule for all areas. Start times vary. Staff must be aware that they are expected to stay until cases are done for the day. Must be flexible. FloatingPACU RN's will work both sides (inpatient & outpatient), as well as they can work in the surgery center & the Anesthesia Clinic. (Eventually they will be moving to one big area & everyone will be able to do both pre & post. Floor specific orientation2-3 shifts Common types of cases to recover?They recover everything except open hearts go straight to the ICU. Recover all general, neuro, thoracic, interventions from Cath lab, radiology, as well as simple procedures & casesICU patients - do they recover in PACU?Yes, they recover ICU patients in the PACU w/ the exception of open hearts Cancellation Policy:2 shifts per 13 week contract Charting BSN License to , willing to wait Trauma Level: Care Shift , 9-5, 10-6 or 8-6.
