Field Service Technician (Grand Rapids)

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (within 1-hour radius)

Pay: $35–$45+/hour + OT + per diem

Travel: Up to 90% | Typically home on weekends

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and start up automated packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Work with 480V three-phase power, motors, servos, wiring diagrams, and safety circuits
• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment modifications
• Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance

What We're Looking For

• Strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and using a multimeter
• Background in industrial maintenance, automation, robotics, electronics, or field service
• Willingness to travel up to 90%

Military veterans encouraged to apply! Navy FCs, ETs, EMs, and other technically trained veterans may be a great fit. Experience with automation, robotics, or industrial equipment is a plus.

Travel details: Generally, Monday–Friday, with weekends at home. Approximately 70% U.S. travel and 30% outside of U.S.
