Fundraising & Events Coordinator

Location: Denton, TX

Marathon Staffing is hiring a Fundraising & Events Coordinator to support community-focused fundraising and event efforts. If you enjoy planning details, building relationships, and helping make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with planning and coordinating fundraising and special events
  • Support outreach efforts to donors, partners, and community stakeholders
  • Help track event logistics, timelines, and materials
  • Coordinate schedules and assist with day-of event support
  • Contribute to basic reporting and follow-up after events

Education, Training, and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in fundraising, event planning, community engagement, marketing, nonprofit development, or a related administrative field required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in business, marketing, public relations, communications, nonprofit management, event management, human services, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with nonprofit or governmental organizations highly preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required
