Optometric Technician- Full Time- Private Practice

About our Practice Our private practice has provided quality primary care to Plano and the surrounding area for over 20 years, and we believe that attentiveness is important for both our staff as well as our patients so that they can provide the best quality of care. What You’ll Do Guiding patients through the pretesting process using automated testing and documenting patient history in our EMR system and counseling patients on their visit and doctor‑recommended treatment plan Answering phones and acting as a face for our company Handling administrative tasks, such as scheduling and verifying insurance benefits Maintaining pharmaceuticals, contact lens inventory and exam rooms so that they are fully stocked and clean for patient encounters What You’ll Need A motivated, self‑starting attitude An amiable personality and ability to develop rapport with our patients A keen eye for detail and stellar organizational skills Experience working in a private practice preferred Why You’ll Love this Opportunity Environment – You’ll love coming to work in our family‑friendly atmosphere!
