Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiology) RN Evanston, IL. This full-time position involves delivering high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations during cardiovascular procedures. The role requires collaboration with physicians, preparation of procedure rooms, management of supplies, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, and maintaining detailed patient records.

Job Details

• Position Description:
  Responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the cardiovascular department, supporting holistic patient well-being, ensuring safety and comfort for adult and geriatric patients during cardiac procedures.

• Required Qualifications:
  Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification upon hire and maintained current; at least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care environment.

• Schedule:
  Days shift, 8 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute on-call response time requirement.

• Additional Information:
  Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining procedure rooms, managing supplies, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, assessing patient condition in real-time, and participating in performance improvement activities. The role involves OR/IR coverage with every 3rd weekend and at least 16 on-call periods within a six-week span.
