QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Certified Nurse Assistant Credential
  • Possess the ability to relate to children
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage health needs effectively

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) opportunity is available to provide valuable healthcare support within a K-12 educational setting, working specifically special education students. This position involves delivering compassionate care and assistance on a consistent schedule, supporting the health and well-being of students.

  • Monitor and assist with health-related needs of the assigned student during school hours
  • Administer care in compliance with healthcare plans and school policies
  • Maintain accurate health records and communicate with school staff and healthcare providers
  • Promote a safe and nurturing environment that supports student learning and well-being

SALARY AND BENEFITS: $36,450 annually, full year, full time Illinois Municipal Retirement System (IMRF) pension, paid sick and personal days, medical, dental, vision, LTD, AD & D and Life Insurance. Employee Assistance Program
