Medical Laboratory Technician or Laboratory Technologist

Facility: Marsh Med Ctr Beaver Dam Location: Beaver Dam, WI Address: 707 S University Ave, Beaver Dam, WI 53916, USA Shift: 8 Hours - Rotating Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 38.00 Salary Range: $21.50 - $34.50 Job Summary Responsible for pre‑analytical, analytical, and post‑analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met. Serves as a laboratory resource to other health care personnel and collaborates with other departments across the enterprise. Demonstrates critical and independent judgment in decision‑making and problem‑solving. Performs other related duties as assigned. Variable schedule / shifts, rotating weekends and holidays. Qualifications Medical Laboratory Technician: Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science required; national certification for MLT or CLT through an approved HHS agency (e.g., ASCP) or registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment. Must maintain continuing education credits and may need Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Laboratory Technologist: Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field with 30 combined semester hours of biological science and chemistry.
