Actuarial Manager

Lead and provide management on consulting engagements, specifically in Medicaid public health programs Conduct project planning and evaluate operational performance Oversee work plan functions, due dates, and preparation of deliverables Develop quality controls and procedures Monitor compliance with professional standards Develop subject matter expertise Develop engagement tools, resources, and reference materials Analyze, review, interpret, and summarize detailed medical claims and enrollment data Report on client- and state-specific requests Collaborate with colleagues on team, contract, and practice-area management Support and contribute to other engagements and teams Cultivate new opportunities and services Represent the firm at conferences, workshops, and industry events Establish, develop, and monitor client relationships Evaluate and ensure client satisfaction with work product Recruit, develop, and retain staff Maintain security and confidentiality of protected health information and other sensitive information Requirements Bachelor's degree Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) (preferred) 5 years of related experience (preferred) 3 years of supervisory experience (preferred) Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (preferred) Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients and internally at all levels of an organization (preferred) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills (preferred) Ability to multitask with planning and efficiency (preferred) Organized and detail oriented (preferred) Ability to operate effectively and comfortably in a team‑oriented environment (preferred) High level of integrity, client service, and leadership skills (preferred) Ability to formulate business, technical, and operational strategies (preferred) Ability to travel occasionally based on business and client needs (preferred) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Medicaid public health programs, project planning, and operational performance evaluation.
