About the Role:

We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Sarasota, FL. As an OTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to design and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for our residents. Your expertise will help our residents regain independence, build confidence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Pay starts at $32/hr and increases based on experience level

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in conducting evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for residents

• Implement and execute occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and strategies

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field preferred

• Completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)

• Florida State licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant required

• Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
