SQL Server Database Administrator – Senior / Mid-Level

Salary: $63,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience and level

Job Description

SajTech is seeking experienced SQL Server Database Administrators for Senior and Mid-Level positions supporting an enterprise database environment.

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, SQL scripting, SQL Clustering, backup and recovery, HA/DR, performance tuning, production troubleshooting, patching, maintenance, and database administration .

Senior-level candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant database experience , while Mid-Level candidates should have at least 4 years of relevant database administration experience .

Responsibilities include administering standalone and clustered SQL Server environments, diagnosing query plans, blocking, deadlocks, jobs, storage and connection issues, maintaining backup and recovery chains, testing failover and application reconnection, supporting MS Access and related integrations, capacity planning, patching, maintenance, and incident/change management.

Experience with additional technologies including Oracle, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle Grid and Oracle RMAN is valuable. Candidates should clearly identify the technologies they have personally worked with.

Oracle or SQL professional certifications are strongly preferred.

This is a full-time remote opportunity with availability required during the defined business window and occasional scheduled after-hours maintenance/support.

Compensation:
Mid-Level: up to approximately $63,000/year
Senior Level: up to approximately $90,000/year
