Home Health Aide

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team in the Fort Walton Beach and surrounding area. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary goal will be to assist patients with their daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Level 2 Background check
• Drivers License
• Experience working in assisted living, long term care, or home care settings
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with elderly or disabled patients

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and sanitization
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using computer data entry

Skills:

As a Home Health Aide, you will utilize your skills in patient care, priority setting, assisted living, long term care, and home care on a daily basis. You will also need to have patience, excellent sanitization skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Your computer data entry skills will be essential for maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, if you are bilingual in English and Spanish, it will be a great asset in communicating with our diverse patient population.
