The role involves leading strategic initiatives to improve student retention and graduation rates, focusing on low-income, first-generation, and under-represented minority populations, while coordinating efforts across academic leadership and external consultants. Highlights Lead comprehensive review and analysis of student outcomes, retention, and graduation rates. Focus on improving success rates for low-income, first-generation, and historically under-represented minority students. Recommend operational improvements in registration, packaging, and billing practices to academic leadership. Advise faculty and department chairs on pedagogical and curricular revisions based on best practices. Collaborate with senior university leadership and external consultants to set strategic directions for student success initiatives. Master's degree required with at least 3 years of administrative experience in higher education or related government/non-profit organizations. Preferred candidates hold a doctoral degree and have institutional effectiveness and academic advisement experience. Salary range from $124,967 to $191,383, with final offers based on qualifications and available funding. Position classified as exempt, full-time, and eligible for hybrid work arrangements under Rutgers policy.
