Fiscal Specialist

In this entry-level role, you will assist with a variety of accounting and fiscal support functions, helping to ensure financial information is accurate and processed in a timely manner. Responsibilities may include reviewing documents, entering and maintaining financial records, and supporting daily accounting activities under the guidance of experienced team members. Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of financial calculations and accounting concepts.
• Familiar with internal control practices
• Knowledge of Excel

• Confident using computerized accounting systems
• A thoughtful problem-solver who can look at different options and find good solutions
• Able to review and understand financial information
• Communicates clearly, both in writing and in conversations
• Uses good judgment when following procedures and guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree (typically in Finance) Experience: 0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician OR Education & Experience Substitution: 3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None
