Shift Manager Responsibilities Lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Provide leadership to crew and other managers, ensuring quality, service and cleanliness. Plan, monitor performance, and take actions to meet McDonald’s standards, maintain safety, security and profitability. Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a smooth transition. Track and meet targets, helping departments reach goals. Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail or hospitality. Positive team player with a flexible schedule. Passion for the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.
