Consultant to Director - CEO ADVISORY

Job based in Paris with potential travel abroad.

As part of our CEO Strategic Advisory practice, you will work alongside CEOs, executive committees, boards and investors to help shape the future of leading organizations. You will advise clients on their most critical strategic decisions – from defining long-term growth ambitions to navigating disruption, transforming performance and evaluating investment opportunities.

Depending on your level of seniority ( Consultant to Director ), you will progressively assume greater responsibility for problem solving, client leadership, team development and growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Advise CEOs, executive teams and boards on their highest-priority strategic challenges
• Structure complex business problems and develop rigorous, data-driven recommendations, accelerated with AI
• Lead strategic analyses, executive workshops and board-level discussions
• Manage consulting workstreams or end-to-end engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable client impact
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across industries
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership and the growth of the CEO Advisory practice
• Coach and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture (Manager to Director grades)

What to Expect from the Job

You will work on high-impact strategic engagements across industries, partnering directly with executive leadership on topics including:

Enterprise Strategy, Growth & Innovation

• Strategic market studies
• Growth strategy definition, market entry and portfolio optimization approach
• Business model innovation and long-term strategic planning

Enterprise Productivity & Performance

• Enterprise-wide productivity and cost transformation programs
• Process efficiency assessment and AI-based process re-design
• Performance improvement and resource optimization

M&A Strategic Advisory (Buy-Side, Sell-Side)

• Pre-deal projects: Target screenings, Commercial due diligence, Technology due diligence, Product due diligence, Operational due diligence, Carve-out / Integration memo’s
• Post-deal projects: post-merger integration, carve-outs, synergy plans, transformations
• Corporate M&A capability re-design

Strategic Advisory to Private Equity Firms (Buy-Side, Sell-Side)

• Portfolio and fund strategy reviews
• Commercial, Technology, Product, Operational due diligence, Carve-out / Integration memo’s
• Portfolio company’s value creation/ full-potential plans
• Exit strategy and equity story development

Job Profile

We are looking for individuals who combine intellectual curiosity, analytical excellence and strong leadership potential.

Academic Background

• Master's degree from a leading Grande École, engineering school, university or equivalent
• MBA or postgraduate degree from a top institution is an advantage

Professional Experience

• Consultant : 2-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, transaction advisory, private equity, investment banking or a similarly analytical environment
• Manager / Senior Manager : 6-10 years of experience with proven project leadership and client management
• Director : 10+ years of experience advising senior executives, with a strong track record in client development and leadership of complex engagements

Skills & Capabilities

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in French (C2) and English (C1 and higher)
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted client relationships
• Entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative leadership style and commitment to excellence
• Willingness to travel according to client needs
