Overview This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ophthalmic Technician located in Skokie, IL. The Ophthalmic Technician will be responsible for assisting ophthalmologists with patient care by performing preliminary eye function tests, conducting diagnostic tests, scribing patient interactions, and maintaining patient records. Additional responsibilities include operating specialized ophthalmic equipment, such as fundus cameras and OCT, and assisting with minor surgical procedures. The role requires excellent patient interaction and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
