Store Clerk

The store clerk reports directly to the store manager and indirectly to both the assistant store managers and shift leaders. This position is responsible for duties such as cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and monitoring perishables. The store clerk provides excellent customer service and assists in maintaining excellent daily store conditions. This position accomplishes all job duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include operating a cash register efficiently, performing checkout procedures, handling and stocking various products, assisting with unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store conditions, and providing excellent customer service.

About you: Must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and possess proven retail sales experience. Excellent teamwork, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in basic math and computer skills are required. Must be dependable, flexible, and adhere to safety standards and a uniform dress code.

Physical requirements include the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift, and transport objects weighing 20-50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift, at times up to 80 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and move about for extended periods of time, and regularly work in various environments.
