Off-Duty Police Officer (Armed Security) Job Location: Vernon Hills, IL 60061 Salary Range: $35.00 - $35.00 per hour Shift: Any (Part Time/Weekends With Some Week Days/ Day Shift Available) Hourly Pay: $35 per hour with opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities Secure the main entrance Access control and serve as a visible deterrent Respond to emergency situations that may arise Help de-escalate potential conflicts Assist at the direction of client management Protect the general welfare of staff, clients, and visitors Provide a positive presence and visible deterrent to crime and violence Act as the first line of response during an emergency, notifying local law enforcement and staff as quickly as possible Identify and report safety concerns Maintain communication with all appropriate Blue Line and client personnel Document activities, findings, and incidents when necessary Comply with legal requirements to maintain Blue Line's stability and reputation React appropriately in emergency/crisis situations Be customer service-oriented and professional at all times Pay close attention to detail Communicate with team members and clients as needed Meet all team deadlines and responsibilities, listen to others, and cooperate Perform any additional duties as required Other responsibilities and duties may be required related to the position General Summary & Requirements A strong work ethic, punctuality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service are required.
