Residential Remodeling Designer

Demo Workers is an innovative and groundbreaking start-up company looking to hire someone to join our growing team. Our commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction is our top priority. The opening we are looking to fill is for a residential remodeling designer. The ideal candidate should be very driven, great at communicating with clients and teams, and reliable. We pride ourselves on providing an unparalleled customer service experience at every step of the process. As a company, we always try to continuously update clients on every stage of the process so they know we have their best interests at heart.

 

The duties of this role are as follows:

• Meet with customers to discuss what they are looking to get done.
• Designing the remodeling project around customers' needs or budgets
• Processing orders
• Tracking material
• Providing a comprehensive construction design, demolition plan, and material list
• Top-level internet research skills – you should be a master at Google
• Handling a high degree of autonomy and responsibility from day one while thriving in a supportive team environment
• Creative, conceptual, and customer-centric thinking as well as a deep technical understanding of the construction
• Proofreading and editing for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Executing the deadlines with the client

 

Requirements of the job include:

• 5 years of design experience
• Self Motivated
• General knowledge of building maintenance is a plus
• Great organizational skills
• General computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, Google Drive, etc.)
• Strong sales ability
• Great communication skills

 

Have experience with this software

• AutoCAD or Chief Architect
• Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop
