An established eye care private practice in Smithfield is hiring a full-time Medical Front Desk Coordinator. This role is the first point of contact for our patients, so we are looking for someone who is organized, personable, and comfortable keeping pace with a steady flow of calls and check-ins.

What You Will Do

• Check patients in and out and create a welcoming experience at every visit
• Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system
• Book, confirm, and reschedule appointments
• Collect copays and other patient payments at the time of service
• Prepare visit paperwork and keep patient files current
• Guide patients to the right staff member or department when needed

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Clear, courteous communication in person, by phone, and in writing
• Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and the ability to manage a busy front desk independently
• A neat, professional presentation
• Experience with electronic medical records is helpful but not required; we will train the right candidate
• Bilingual a plus
