As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in El Paso, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific policies, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related procedures at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and other designated entry points, verify identification and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent screening and documentation practices.
• Answer phones, greet incoming guests, direct them to the appropriate destination, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or service requests.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Observe cameras, alarms, and front desk systems as assigned, maintain accurate logs and reports, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
