Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room

We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The position requires working three 12-hour night shifts. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to attendance policies. There are two weekend shifts or four weekend days required within a six-week period. Holidays may be required as needed. Travelers may be floated to other facilities as needed. Candidates should be capable of managing complex patient care. Responsibilities include care of ventilated patients and managing central lines. The unit supports various patient diagnoses and has interdisciplinary support available. Specific skills in trauma care and patient management are essential. The department has a daily high volume of visits and requires effective multitasking and communication skills.

Minimum 2 Years Experience Required in Emergency Department. License: Active License Required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Required; CPI, PALS, TNCC Preferred. Must-Have: All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam. Previous charge nurse experience preferred. EPIC experience required.
