Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit.
This position is suitable for first-time travelers.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a critical care setting.
A flexible schedule of either 36 or 48 hours per week is available.
The role will involve a patient ratio of 1:2 during nights.
Floating to medical-surgical units, step-down units, and other areas may be required.
Weekend shifts will also be a part of the schedule.
Key skills include arterial line management, chest tube care, and blood product administration.
Experience in managing patients with multi-system organ dysfunction is essential.
Candidates should be familiar with interpreting arterial blood gases and managing dysrhythmias.
Post-surgical care and procedural sedation monitoring are also critical parts of the role.
A strong understanding of infection prevention and isolation precautions is expected.
