Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility setting to restore or maintain functional independence
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and discharge planning in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies to support daily living activities

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Washington
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar post-acute care environment
Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel or contract therapy experience
Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare guidelines in a SNF setting
Experience with ADL retraining, cognitive rehabilitation, and splinting
