Janitor

Enter and work in internally confined spaces. Manipulate and transport loads up to 25-35 pounds. Approximately 6 times during each 8-hour shift. Act as a courier to deliver material to job sites. Operate forklift as needed. Traverse and negotiate uneven heights between dock and vessel. Traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces. Ascend and work at heights of up to 40 feet. Push a lawnmower and operate a weed eater. Critical Demands Balance and strength to climb 40 ft. Repetitive forward bending, rotation of the trunk, and flexing of the hips and the knees. Lifting no greater than 50 lbs. from floor to 6 ft. work surface unassisted. Repetitive upper extremity movements while cleaning. Working Conditions Work is outdoors or marine vessels. There is no air conditioning or heating. Uneven surfaces throughout job site, with sand, limestone, concrete, and railways outside, as well as concrete and railways inside. Numerous trip hazards throughout.
