Senior Maintenance Planner

Senior Maintenance Planner (1418) Location: Covert, MI (onsite) Primary Responsibilities Develop detailed job plans for maintenance, repair, modification, and troubleshooting of plant equipment Create testing plans following maintenance, inspection, and repair activities Develop preventive maintenance plans to enhance equipment reliability and performance Conduct research, analyze drawings and specifications, and procure obsolete nuclear components and parts Identify equipment problems, defects, and failures impacting system integrity and reliability Support Engineering with testing, evaluations, and technical analysis Propose design changes to improve plant safety, efficiency, and performance Interface with regulatory agencies and industry representatives in support of plant operations Update work management and scheduling systems, including Asset Suite or similar tools Assist with post-work critiques and continuous improvement efforts Coordinate across departments to facilitate workflow and resolve scheduling conflicts Analyze alternatives and recommend solutions to operational and planning challenges Communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing Ensure compliance with plant procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Organization Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline strongly preferred 4+ years of experience in a nuclear power plant environment Strong technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and plant operations Ability to perform semi-technical calculations related to maintenance and plant systems Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and specifications Experience developing complex troubleshooting and repair plans for plant equipment Familiarity with work management systems such as Asset Suite preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to use required tools and equipment relevant to planning and maintenance functions Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams in a regulated environment Benefits Industry‑leading medical, dental, and vision coverage with a generous employer premium contribution and Day1 eligibility FLEX Program – Hybrid work opportunities available for eligible roles, where business needs and role requirements allow 401(k) retirement plan with up to a 5% company match and immediate vesting to support long‑term financial security Paid time off and 11 paid holidays to support rest, balance, and recharge Wellness program offering rewards for participation in company‑supported health initiatives Commuter benefits supporting mass transit and commuter parking options Company‑paid life and AD&D insurance for added peace of mind Education assistance to support continued education and professional growth Employee support and voluntary benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program and optional coverage such as disability, legal, identity theft, and insurance programs Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary based on role, location, and employment status #J-18808-Ljbffr
