Shift:

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Unit Information:

Facility Location: Miami, FL

Type of Unit: Inpatient Rehabilitation

Number of Beds: 35-bed unit

Staffing: 82 total rehabilitation staff members, including Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), Speech Therapists (ST), Aides, and Clerical staff.

Patient Care and Staff Information:

Shifts: Day Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Night Shift: Not Applicable
Patient Ratios: Estimated at 1:4 (4 patients per therapist)
Type of Equipment: Includes lift equipment, adaptive devices, exercise equipment, and an outdoor training patio.
Documentation System: Meditech (Transitioning to Expanse on October 15, 2026)
Call Requirements: None

Qualifications Required:

Florida PT License
CPR - BLS Certification

Responsibilities:

Conduct patient evaluations
Implement therapeutic activities and exercises
Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Provide training and education for patients, families, and caregivers

Additional Preferences:

Experienced candidates
Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays

Dress Code:

Gray or black scrubs
