Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Location

Hagerstown, MD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Rotate through all LDRP roles including Labor, Triage, and Postpartum/Mother-Baby care
• Manage 1–2 laboring patients and 3–4 postpartum couplets depending on assignment
• Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care across the full continuum of the labor and delivery experience
• Participate in on-call hours as required by staffing needs, typically averaging 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule
• Work some holidays and weekends as part of standard scheduling requirements
• Float to other units in rotation with staff per facility floating policies and in accordance with clinical experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery / LDRP experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with OB surgical recovery, including C-section recovery
• Comfort and experience providing Mother-Baby (postpartum couplet) care
