Advanced Practice Nurse (Midwife)

Job TitleDutiesProvide assessment, diagnosis and treatment of obstetrical and gynecological patients.Manage care for patients through antepartum, intrapartum, delivery to include obstetrical emergencies and immediate care of newborn.Perform obstetrical evaluation and provide plan of care.Serve as a consultant to a variety of health professionals.Participate in and conduct educational programs to improve midwifery practice.Provide women's health care and education to include, but not limited to contraceptive care, family planning, colposcopy, biopsies and contraceptive education and placement.
