Field Service Technician - Solon, Ohio
$30.00 - $35.00/HR + OT and per diem
Permanent Position with Benefits
Solon, Ohio company is seeking to hire an experienced Field Service Technician willing to do 50% worldwide travel to install, start-up, troubleshoot, and repair robotic controlled processing equipment.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED, Associate or Trade school degree a plus
- Apprenticeship in a mechanical trade discipline or equivalent work experience
- PLC/HMI robot programming experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Electrical control and mechanical diagnostic trouble shooting skills
- Handle telephone and email customer support issues
- Knowledge in mechanical and electrical industrial automation equipment
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical technical drawings, schematics and blueprints
- Must have clean driving record and passport to be able to travel in United States, Mexico & Canada (possibly occasional South America) at short notice
- 50% worldwide travel to install, start-up, troubleshoot, and repair robotic controlled equipment.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
