The Jr. Business Operations Analyst provides vital day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) regional leadership and field staff. This introductory role keeps the office moving efficiently by handling foundational logistics, file management, travel coordination, and task tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn government processes, and ready to protect investigative missions by managing the operational details leaders cannot absorb themselves. 

This is an on-site position.

Active Secret Clearance Required.

Key Responsibilities

• Office & Meeting Support: Provide phone and desk coverage, manage executive calendars, reserve conference rooms, monitor general mailboxes, and transcribe meeting minutes. 
• Document Control & Records: Maintain electronic and hard-copy files according to agency policy. Securely handle, mark, and destroy classified and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). 
• Correspondence: Draft, format, and proofread high-quality official letters, memos, reports, and briefings from rough notes to signature-ready products. 
• Travel & Timekeeping: Assist staff with Defense Travel System (DTS) travel orders, reservations, and vouchers. Support automated time and attendance reporting. 
• Logistics & Fleet Management: Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance. Serve as vehicle coordinator by tracking logs, inputting data, and operating government-owned or rental vehicles for local deliveries and transit. 
• Action Tracking: Input and monitor milestones in agency task-management systems to flag active, near-due, and overdue deadlines for leadership. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of relevant administrative or operational experience. 
• Security Clearance: Must possess an active SECRET security clearance. 
• Communication: Superior oral and written English communication skills with strong attention to grammar and formatting. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the ability to build spreadsheets, presentations, and reports from source data. 
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate government or rental vehicles (requires proof of insurance and completion of GSA Defensive Driver training upon hire). 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong organization, accuracy, and dependable follow-through on multiple tight deadlines. 
• Sound judgment when handling sensitive personnel data or classified national security info. 
• Professional presence and comfort working alongside senior executives and external military or government personnel. 
• High willingness to learn and navigate federal software platforms (such as DTS, DPAS, and automated task trackers). 

Other : Willingness to travel as needed (up to 10%); ability to work in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
