Position: Ophthalmologist Location: Frankfort & Lexington, KY

Position Overview:

A well-established ophthalmology-optometry practice in Kentucky is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Ophthalmologist to join their growing team. The practice offers immediate patient volume, a strong referral network, advanced clinical support, and a collaborative private practice environment.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care while contributing to the continued growth of a high-performing practice with a focus on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology services, including cataract, glaucoma, cornea, and medical retina care.
• Perform office-based procedures and surgeries through an established ambulatory surgery center.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions.
• Perform intravitreal injections (preferred).
• Collaborate with optometrists, clinical staff, and support teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using an integrated EHR system.
• Participate in practice growth initiatives while maintaining a high standard of clinical care.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified Ophthalmologist.
• Eligible for or holding an active Kentucky medical license.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in comprehensive ophthalmology.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and long-term practice growth.
