Private Equity Operations & Finance - Sr Associate

My client is a world leading, tier 1 alternative investment firm who are seeing significant growth and continue to past exceptional financial results, including substantial AUM growth. What makes this interesting is you’re essentially sitting in the middle of everything, deal teams, senior leadership, and investors, and you’re owning the actual flow of capital across the funds. Instead of just reporting on what’s already happened, you’re involved in executing investments, managing liquidity, and helping structure how deals actually get done. Day-to-day, you’d be coordinating investment funding across both US and international deals, managing capital calls and distributions, and working closely with deal teams on things like fund flows, FX, and overall execution. You’d also have exposure to investor reporting, reviewing financials, capital calls, quarterly materials, and you’d be involved in launching new funds, working with legal and fundraising to set everything up from scratch. There’s also a strong commercial angle, you’d be helping manage cash across fund structures, supporting forecasting around carry and fee revenue, and working on credit facilities tied to investments. Job Title: PE Fund Finance Sr Associate Overview This position sits within a team responsible for Finance for a select fund group, as well as having oversight of investment vehicles. The group partners closely with senior leadership, investment professionals, and accounting to support the day-to-day activity across fund structures, including liquidity management, investor activity, and transaction execution. What You’ll Be Doing Support the execution of investment transactions globally, including coordinating cash movements, investor funding, and distribution activity Collaborate with investment teams to manage deal-related logistics such as payment flows, sourcing of capital, tax considerations, FX exposure, and asset custody Contribute to the launch of new funds by working alongside internal stakeholders on setup, onboarding, and reporting processes Track and manage liquidity across multiple entities, including forecasting and maintaining appropriate cash reserves Develop and maintain financial projections related to fund performance, including fees and carried interest Help administer financing arrangements tied to the funds, including drawdowns, repayments, and ongoing lender reporting Deliver analytical support and insights to senior investment professionals on an as-needed basis What They\'re Looking For Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (advanced certifications are a plus) Experience in finance, accounting, or an investment-related environment Strong quantitative skill set, including comfort working with financial models a plus Ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the confidence to suggest improvements This role is hybrid 3 days in office, and 2 from home.
