Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders. This role involves developing personalized care plans and supporting patient progress within regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and rehabilitative therapies for patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing issues.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to guide clinical interventions.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and document outcomes in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, treatment minutes, and discharge summaries in electronic health records.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and required facility and company in-services.

Qualifications:

• Hold active ASHA certification and state licensure in Missouri.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of SLP experience; new graduates with Level II experience considered.
• Have prior LTC or SNF experience.
• Be CCC-certified with at least 3 years of active CCS preferred.
• Demonstrate adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, ethical standards, and code of conduct.
