Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the vibrant Pompano Beach area. Two contract roles are available, offering flexibility and professional growth at both charter and renaissance school environments.
Ideal candidates thrive in diverse school communities, implement evidence-based interventions, and foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere. Whether you're an experienced SLP-CCC or completing your CFY, these positions provide outstanding settings to expand your expertise.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Florida SLP license or temporary state certification
- Open to both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year applicants
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and rapport-building skills
- Ability to develop and carry out IEP goals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Role Highlights:
- Deliver direct therapy and conduct speech/language evaluations for students
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Create individualized treatment plans rooted in best practices
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families for holistic support
- Choose between two dynamic opportunities:
- Coral Springs Charter School, 4 days per week/32 hours
- Renaissance Charter School at Plantation, 5 days per week/40 hours
