Gifted Hands Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from anywhere in the United States. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments utilizing exceptional interviewing techniques to identify the counseling needs of individuals, families, and groups.
  • Demonstrate mastery in responding to psychiatric emergencies and properly diagnosing a range of mental health conditions.
  • Adhere strictly to legal and ethical guidelines while applying established principles in adult psychology to ensure patient rights are respected.
  • Accurately evaluate client mental health status through established diagnostic criteria and develop tailored treatment plans that promote healing and recovery.
  • Quickly analyze and navigate crisis scenarios to provide immediate and appropriate interventions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assess clients for potential medication referrals, contributing to their treatment plans and ongoing progress evaluations.
  • Facilitate the intake process by gathering detailed histories from clients and their families, offering crisis intervention as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to review cases and treatment strategies, ensuring comprehensive care and consistent progress reporting.
  • Develop and manage individual and group treatment plans specifically aimed at addressing mental, emotional, and family-related disorders.
  • Continuously assess and monitor clinical treatment initiatives, adjusting plans as needed to reflect changes in patient and family dynamics.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation to support diagnostic evaluations and track client progress over time.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our team, you will work with a diverse patient population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and family conflicts. Your ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to the unique needs of each client will be vital in contributing to their mental well-being and recovery.

Qualifications

  • An active professional license to practice in the United States.
  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current licensure from an appropriate state board as either an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are a requirement, we prefer applicants who have experience working with varied populations and familiarity with telehealth practices. Strong communication skills and a passion for providing care in a remote setting are essential attributes for success in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers an attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for qualified candidates.
