Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in a Breast Care Imaging unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and advanced breast ultrasound proficiency.
Details
- Breast Care Imaging unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Specialized focus on breast ultrasound imaging
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- No on-call required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound/sonography
- Advanced breast ultrasound experience required
- ARDMS certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- License required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
- First-time travelers are encouraged to confirm eligibility based on the specialty experience requirements
