Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years experience for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring BLS and ARRT (MR) certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the MRI department with 1 scanner room
• General MRI imaging including head, neck, abdomen, and extremity studies (no cardiac)
• Average of 14 scans/studies per day
• Uses GE equipment and EPIC EMR/PACS system
• 3x12 hour day shifts
• Call required one night per week and every 3-4 weekends
• No floating to other departments required
• In-house radiologist available except overnight

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs
• EPIC experience preferred
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform general MRI imaging studies across head, neck, abdomen, and extremities
• Start IVs as part of routine duties
• Department-specific orientation provided in addition to general facility orientation
• Scrubs in any professional color, not facility-provided
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• Must reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates should plan to be in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are remote
