About the Position

IV therapy/Phlebotomy

Administration of blood & blood products Starting and maintaining IVs Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring

Medication & Administration

Antihypertensives

Labor and Delivery Management

Assist with vaginal delivery

Postpartum Care of the Patient with

Cesarean Section Vaginal Delivery

Care of Patient With

Diabetes mellitus Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia Premature Rupture of Membranes

Newborn Care

Discharge teaching to parents Newborn Assessment Teach Circumcision care to parents

Pain Management

Epidural Anesthesia Opioids Pain assessment & management

Postpartum Care and Procedures

Foley catheter insertion/management Fundus / lochia / perineum care

Professional Topics and Skills

Isolation Precautions/PPE
