Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurses are sought for a contract opportunity in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care on a neuro medical/surgical unit, supporting immediate needs with a focus on telemetry monitoring, and adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Job Details Location: South Austin Medical Center, Main Floor: 5 Central Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) Schedule: 12 hours shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, CPR/BLS certification, IV Certification for LVNs, minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, location flexibility, and additional training or certifications listed as nice to have are ACLS and NIHSS. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with NIH, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care experience will be considered first. Responsibilities include delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, managing telemetry equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.
