The Feed Mill Industrial Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs a mixed portfolio of production machinery, material-handling equipment, and packaging equipment. Working independently and as part of a maintenance crew while reporting to a supervisor, this role uses a CMMS platform and other systems to support daily maintenance activities and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production, material-handling, and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment issues.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Document maintenance activities using a CMMS platform and other systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Technical certificate in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with welding and fabrication, including MIG/TIG welding.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Understanding of safety compliance practices.
- Experience with HVAC systems.
