Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range $16.50 - $24.50 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Role Overview The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Essential Job Functions Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer‑service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team members execute on customer‑service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.). Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy. Process all buy online/ship to store, hub‑to‑store, and DC add orders promptly, and notify customers upon shipment arrivals as needed. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks, ensuring completion as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, have deviations approved by management, and clock in/out according to company policy.
