Job Description

We are seeking skilled MIG Welders to join our team, where you will work primarily with mild carbon steel across horizontal, vertical, and circular positions. This role demands precision, speed, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild carbon steel, primarily 12 gauge.
• Utilize grinders and various hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and hammers.
• Occasionally read and interpret blueprints.
• Use hand carts to transport necessary materials.
• Complete projects within specified target times, ranging from 30 minutes to 5 hours.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Operate hydraulic welding tables.
• Spend approximately 90% of the day on MIG welding and 10% on transporting materials and using hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding certificate or completion of a welding school or program.
• Experience in fabrication and using grinding machines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of University Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
