Job Summary

Our client is seeking an IR Technologist responsible for performing interventional radiology procedures and providing expert consultation and follow-up care. The role involves both clinical and administrative duties within the hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, biopsies, and more.
• Provide expert advice to referring physicians and manage patient cases pre- and post-procedure.
• Participate in peer reviews and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure proper documentation of care in the electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, or District.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.
• Fluent in English and proficient in interventional radiology skills.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
• Provide proof of immunity/vaccination for specified diseases and a negative Tuberculosis test.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Additional Requirements

• On-call coverage during weekends, holidays, evenings, and nights, with a 15-minute phone and 60-minute onsite response time.
