Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on delivering virtual psychiatric care with an emphasis on diagnosing, treating, and monitoring mental health conditions across a broad patient population. The position combines direct patient care, medication management, and therapeutic support while working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. It is well suited for a clinician who values structured documentation, patient education, and the ability to contribute to accessible behavioral health services in a technology-enabled environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $145,000 – $203,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients
• Prescribe and monitor medications as needed
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for patient continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about mental health issues
• Participate in community outreach and education

Qualifications

• 12 months of post-licensure experience in a psychiatric clinical setting
• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing
• Board Certification via ANCC or AANP
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Active DEA registration for prescribing in the state
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
• Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, preferably NextGen
• Strong computer literacy across various software applications
